Current process was creating extra workload in the back office process.
As a reverse logistics service provider to customers, Protempo was receiving and processing the returned customer products. The process followed a standard 2 phase receiving logic (No WMS was in place at the time):
Physical receipt and inspection per customer process
Systematic receipt in ERP (NetSuite)
In order to receive the product in ERP, a PO should have been created for each customer and at the end of the day. There was an opportunity for a process streamlining initiative.
I took the initiative to develop an automated process and eliminate all of the manual work. The solution was built on Microsoft Power Platform.
